We review sites, services and products from around the web and then link to the best ones. It's a very positive site, we don't 'slate' the sites, services or products which we consider to be poor, we simply don't add them to the site. All the reviews are our personal experiences taken from years of using the internet. We hope the site will introduce people to more of the web as well as allowing those already familiar with it direct access to their favourite and most used sites. www.leere.co.uk
leere (meaning 'emptiness' or 'space' - in a positive sense, like a cleared and calm mind), started as an evolving collective of Warwickshire musicians, fronted by Liverpool born singer/songwriter Simon Monaghan, who released their first album Compassionate Ride in 2004. In the summer of 2005 leere gained a more distinct shape and feel; with Jon Priestley on guitar, Jack Gammon on drums and percussion, Wayne Matthews on bass, Simon Monaghan on vocals and Tom Pearson engineering the sound. The band have spent the last few months actively promoting their debut album Compassionate Ride across the Coventry and Warwickshire area, and have been writing fresh, laid back, acoustic melodies, that draw on rock/folk/bluegrass influences. Their first single Hazel was released on the 15th September 2006, along with the soundtrack to the FoGFC Vs the Legends DVD, which features the specially commissioned song Priestfield.

www.BeliefEncounters.com
A collection of 'talking head' presentations, presented by Brian Pearson, inspired by characters from the New Testament. Belief Encounters offers ways in which two-dimensional stories on a page, can be translated into three-dimensional drama for a stage. Adding that 'extra dimension' can have a significant effect as people relate to the characters sharing their deepest thoughts. In these characters you will find the profound, the confused, the elated, the disturbed, the transformed - indeed, a wide range of real human emotions which identify reactions to real encounters with Jesus Christ. Whether as a discussion group starter or as an item in contemporary-style worship or maybe woven into a regular preaching slot, Belief Encounters offers church leaders a new resource. It may also prompt some within churches to write and present their own Belief Encounters stories, and the inclusion of workshop material for creative story-telling, offers a guide to help get such projects off the ground.

On this exclusive DVD from Wild Duck Productions, join Jack, Tom and Matt on a whirlwind five-day exploration of the unique county of Somerset. Watch as the lads are put through their paces as they experience life in the West Country on this adventure with many a humorous twist. Then let MattCam take you behind the scenes and usher you into Matt's weird and wonderful world, captured through the lens of his camcorder. All kinds of challenges and surprises await the teenagers as they get a taste for country life: Matt finds his animal instincts at Secret World, although Jack's not quite so happy when he meets a few furry friends. The lads join the local skittles team and it's boys vs. girls in this high tempo battle of the sexes. The myths and legends of Glastonbury are unveiled at the Tor, while the Rural Life Museum reveals a by-gone way of life. The lads share their insights as they take in the beauty of the medieval Wells cathedral before playing a rather peculiar game in the town centre. The visit to a dairy farm sees the lads soon mucking in... and mucking out, but the rewards are well worth the work! At the end of their trip to the beach, as they stand watching the sun setting over the horizon, the lads reflect on their incredible journey. But after a week of discovery and learning, a few questions remain unanswered... Why did the butcher have a key to the prison? Where in the world will Matt end up? And just what exactly is mud horse fishing???
